SmartPolytics is a campaign operations command center. We process three layers of data:

• Staff Credentials: Email addresses, user names, and operational roles (e.g., administrator, staff, encoder) for platform access control.
• Voter Records: Names, locations (barangay, city), contact numbers, precinct registrations, and assistance history inputted directly by campaign encoders.
• Audit & Server Logs: To verify system integrity and prevent unauthorized logins, we log IP addresses, session cookies, and action events (such as database deletions or creation requests) with detailed timestamps.

2. Data Security & Throttling

To prevent brute-force attacks and crawling, we implement session rate limiting on all login routes. Additionally, we enforce Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) policies, ensuring that campaign staff can only access records relevant to their authorized district or administrative tier.

3. GDPR & Voter Rights Compliance

SmartPolytics operates as a data processor on behalf of the candidate's campaign (the data controller). We support standard GDPR rights for citizens whose information is recorded, including:

• Right to Rectification: Campaign administrators can update any voter record instantly upon request.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Under administrative tools, voter profiles can be permanently removed from the active campaign database.
• Right to Data Portability: All registered voter databases can be securely exported by authorized administrators into standard tabular formats (e.g., CSV/JSON).

4. Cookie Policy

Our platform uses essential session cookies strictly to maintain user authentication and security tokens. We do not place advertising tracking cookies or transmit analytics information to third-party ad networks.
